Noble Mission, Anodin both retired to stud

Tuesday 4 November 2014, 8:17am

Two of Europe's best related horses have been retired to stud with Frankel's brother Noble Mission going to Kentucky and Goldikova's brother to stand in France.

The Lady Cecil-trained Noble Mission had plenty to live up to and came of age in 2014, ending on a high note with his career-defining victory on Champions Day at Ascot last month.

He will go to Lane's End Farm in the new year with his owner Prince Khalid Abdullah to retain an interest.

The Freddy Head-trained Anodin goes to Haras du Quesnay after just failing to emulate his sister in the Breeders' Cup Mile.

Goldikova won the race three times for Head.

Anodin retires without a Group One win but but has five placings at the highest level.
