Nash Rawiller has had an appeal against a 14-meeting Cox Plate suspension dismissed by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.
Rawiller, riding Silent Achiever, was outed by stewards on a careless riding charge for causing interference to Criterion.
He is in the middle of serving a three-meeting careless riding suspension in Hong Kong.
His Melbourne suspension will start at the end of the Hong Kong ban.
Rawiller is eligible to resume riding on November 22.
Daniel Stackhouse had two meetings shaved off a suspension handed out at Seymour on Tuesday.
He can now resume riding on Melbourne Cup day.
