Field of 12 for the Manikato Stakes

Tuesday 21 October 2014, 9:04am

A field of 12 will run in Friday night's Manikato Stakes headed by Lankan Rupee and defending champion Buffering.

The world's highest-rated sprinter, Lankan Rupee will jump from barrier nine as he tries to avenge his two recent defeats at Moonee Valley.

Buffering has drawn barrier four while Sydney sprinter Terravista has gate seven as he attempts his first Group One win.

Connections of Not Listenin'tome paid a late entry to put him in the 1200m dash and he will start from the inside gate.

Rebel Dane, a close third in the Group One Moir Stakes behind Buffering and Lankan Rupee, has barrier three.
