Damian Lane says he will not appeal a suspension which rules him out of the ride on Solicit in the Group One Toorak Handicap.
Lane was suspended for 10 meetings after pleading guilty to careless riding in the last race at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
He said he had been booked for Solicit in next Saturday's Toorak Handicap at Caulfield and also import Manduro's Son in the Herbert Power Stakes.
His suspension starts after Sunday and he is free to return on October 15.
Next Saturday's meeting features four Group One races including the Caulfield Guineas.
Michael Rodd was also suspended for seven meetings on Friday night for careless riding at Bendigo on Thursday but he is free to return for Caulfield Guineas day where he has the ride on Guineas favourite Rich Enuff.
Rodd's suspension starts after Saturday's Turnbull Stakes meeting.
