Field of 10 to tackle George Main Stakes

Wednesday 17 September 2014, 10:35am

Zac Purton will reunite with Sacred Falls in a bid to claim another feature mile win at Randwick in Saturday's Group One George Main Stakes.

Purton combined with Sacred Falls to win the Doncaster Mile in the autumn and again returns from Hong Kong to partner the five-year-old.

Sacred Falls, who has drawn barrier one in the field of 10, will be one of three runners for premier trainer Chris Waller.

Waller will also start last-start winner Hawkspur, who has gate four, and Royal Descent who has drawn barrier two.

Lucia Valentina will make her first foray into weight-for-age company after a winning return in the Tramway Stakes.

The mare has drawn barrier six while Panzer Division, striving to become the first three-year-old to win since Viscount in 2001, has gate eight.
