Carlton House to gallop at Randwick

Thursday 24 July 2014, 4:40pm

The Queen's horse Carlton House heads a quartet of carnival contenders featuring in exhibition gallops at Randwick on Saturday.

Group One placed in the Ranvet and Queen Elizabeth Stakes during the autumn, Carlton House will work solo over 1200m on the Kensington track under Tommy Berry.

Berry will also ride VRC Oaks winner Kirramosa in an 800m workout before teaming with Diamond Drille when she partners stablemate Sweet Idea (Tim Clark) in a 1200m gallop.

In a busy afternoon for Berry he also has rides in seven of the eight races including early favourites Saigon Tea and Casual Choice.
