Royal Snitzel Bolts in on Debut

Wednesday 25 June 2014, 11:08am

Royal Snitzel, bred out of our 4 time Metropolitan winning mare Royal Charades became United Syndications 7th homebred to get to the races and pleasingly became our 7th winner giving us to date a 100% record for breeding winners-a stat I am very pleased in achieving.

Royal Snitzel’s win was even more rewarding as this filly was retained and raced by the Syndicate (instead of being sold) and judging by her win there looks to be many more in store for this daughter of Snitzel.

Jumping brilliantly from a wide barrier jockey Dale Smith had no hesitation in getting over to the fence and once there dictated the race on his terms and on straightening Royal Snitzel used her natural ability and turn of foot to run away in the drive to the line to win effortlessly by just on 3 lengths.

It was terrific to see Royal Snitzel take to the races what she had shown at home and looks to have a most promising future ahead as now does her dam Royal Charades who has a cracking Charge Forward Colt earmarked for the Magic Millions, is currently in foal to Coolmore stallion Excelebration and will be heading to Smart Missile late in the year so she has been given every chance to improve the winning ratio in the years ahead.

Royal Snitzel will now progress to town and run in an Open 2yo at Caulfield in a couple of weeks’ time where she is expected to be most competitive!
