Gerald Ryan has the distinction of training Myboycharlie's first Australian winner and has the chance to further boost the sire's profile with Our Penny Girl who is entered for Rosehill on Saturday.

Charlie Boy's come-from-behind debut win over the highly-touted Windjammer at Rosehill on Saturday stamped him as one of the better two-year-olds produced this season.

Our Penny Girl will run in a barrier trial Rosehill on Tuesday morning after which Ryan will decide whether she goes to the races this week.

"I'll see how she goes tomorrow before I decide whether she runs on Saturday," Ryan said.

"Triple Crown Syndications bought her and Charlie Boy and I really like them as types.

"They are strong horses. She is not as big as the colt but she is still strong.

"Glyn Schofield will ride her in the trial and on Saturday if we decide to race her."

A Group One-winning juvenile in France, Myboycharlie stands the southern hemisphere season at Vinery Stud.

Our Penny Girl was one of just six two-year-old fillies nominated for the Saturday's 1100m race with David Payne entering three including Artistic Lass who finished fourth to Charlie Boy.

Stablemate Devil Miss has had three starts with her best result so far a third at Hawkesbury last Thursday week while Poison Arrow will be making her debut.

The Gai Waterhouse-trained Certitude and Rock Dreaming from the John O'Shea stable complete the line-up.

Ryan has also entered Dances On Stars for the Rosehill meeting, nominating him for the Inglis Bonus race over 1500m.

If he runs, it will be his third start in as many Saturdays.

The winner of the Kindergarten Stakes last autumn and placed three times behind Queensland's best juvenile Sizzling during the winter, Dances On Stars finished sixth in the Saturday's Sandown Guineas won by Tatra.

"He's coming home to Sydney tonight (Monday) and I'll see how he is when he gets here," Ryan said.

"Angel Of Mercy will also come back home. She has only had three starts this campaign so we'll assess her and maybe keep her going."

The mare finished fifth, beaten just 1-1/2 lengths, in Saturday's Listed Summoned Stakes at Sandown won by Cabernet from fellow Warwick Farm-trained mare Skyerush.
