On Friday 14 February we combined with IDLE CHAT to win the $50,000 annual feature race for fillies and mares at Port Macquarie being the Carlton Mid Queen Of The North. 

That took the tally of wins Darren has trained for Dynamic Syndications since October 2005 to 90 races. Darren Smith and Dynamic Syndications were back in the winner’s circle again on Saturday 15 February at Rosehill, as we combined to produce our exciting sprinter DREAM CHOICE (pictured below)  to demolish his opposition, when winning race 8.

That was his second Sydney Saturday win in a row and his 3rd win from 4 starts (plus a second) for his Team Dynamic owners. This win has taken the Dynamic Syndications / Darren Smith combo to 91 race wins whilst it took Dynamic Syndications total to 375 race wins. That represents 24.3% of our race wins Darren has trained for us. From country maidens to metropolitan races up to Group 1 races – Darren has won them all for our owners.

We have the utmost respect for Darren’s ability and horse husbandry skills. These have seen him win the NSW Provincial Trainer of the Year awards for two seasons in a row being 2011-12 seasonand the 2012 – 2013 season.

Also Darren Smith won the Newcastle Trainers Premiership in 2012-13 defeating runner-up Gai Waterhouse in an epic battle.  We have been close friends with Darren for over 20 years and have seen him grown into his roll as a leading trainer. It is no surprise to us at Dynamic that he is having such a successful run, which see’s him leading the NSW Provincial Trainer’s Premiership again this season.
