Blueblood and Waller Win in Town

Wednesday 20 November 2013, 4:41pm

BlueBlood Thoroughbreds and champion Sydney trainer Chris Waller last night showed that they are a combination to stand up and take notice with their second ever runner Black Revolver ( Pictured with Chris Waller when purchased by BlueBlood Thoroughbreds at 2012 Magic Million’s) cruised for a dominant win under lights at Canterbury yesterday with Nash Rawiller on board.

Black Revolver who is a striking near black son of champion racehorse and sire LONHRO was sent out at unbeatable odds at $1.80 and well and truly lived up to the punters expectations when winning hard held with 30m before the finish, with the winning margin being one and quarter lengths.

Nash commented “It was an unbelievable performance by Black Revolver who was positioned in last spot around the difficult track at Canterbury, but he showed his ability and gave the team at BlueBlood Thoroughbreds something to be excited about”.

BlueBlood’s racing manager David Mourad commented “What a great thrill to have a city winner with Chris Waller at such an early time in the partnership. A big thank you to the Waller team for a job well done and thank you to Nash for a gutsy ride to get him home”.

Black Revolver will now line up for his second career start in town again and from his ability shown in his only start, you would have to say that he should be winning two from as many starts.

Congratulations to the winning owners ” Mr M Buffier, Mr A Snijders, Mr S Wilmot, Mr D Dickie, Mr B Skidmore, Mr M Johnson, Mr S Volpato, Fishro Syndicate (Mgr Mr A Romey), Mr Tom Taunton, Mr A Lau, Mr G Reay, Damdom Syndicate (Mgr Mr D Taylor), Mr J Everett, Mr R Neville, Mr B Clarke and Atkins-Doring Racing Syndicate (Mgr Mr S Doring).
