Melbourne Cup favourite Puissance De Lune will have nine Group One winners against him as he strives to win at racing's elite level for the first time in Saturday's Makybe Diva Stakes.

The Darren Weir-trained Puissance De Lune, an impressive first-up winner of the P B Lawrence Stakes, has barrier five in the field of 15 for the 1600m feature at Flemington with Glen Boss to ride.

Prominent owner Lloyd Williams has three runners with Sydney Cup winner Mourayan (barrier two) to be joined by imports Sea Moon (barrier three) and Masked Marvel (barrier 13) who will make their Australian debuts.

Mornington Cup winner Tuscan Fire will start from the rails draw while Bit Of Hell has the outside gate.

Caulfield Cup-bound Jet Away is missing from the Makybe Diva acceptances and will be saved for a first-up run in the Underwood Stakes.
