FIRST FOAL FOR MASTER OF DESIGN

The black colt was born on Monday morning at the Nagambie nursery and is the first foal from grey Dash For Cash mare Miracle Magic.  "He's a very strong type and well put together with plenty of bone," stud manager Brian Gorman said.  "We won't be able to gauge the Master of Designs as a group until more of them are on the ground but so far, so good." Read more

BIANCONI $3300 NEVER MORE RELIABLE

Swettenham Stud has announced its Group 1 sire Bianconi will stand for a reduced fee of $3,300 (inc gst) this year.

A NOTE FROM ADAM SANGSTER

Master of Design had his first foal this morning at 3am, Brian Gorman was present as he will be with all foaling's, "it's what I do"; ironically the maiden mare was by Dash for Cash, "Miracle Magic", whom is owned by Masters' original owner Jamie & Kelly Lovett, the black colt foal has good size and strength with plenty of bone for a first foal. We are off and running with the foaling season for 2013... Read more
