Star New Zealand gelding Te Akau Shark headlines a field of nine for the George Ryder Stakes, one of five Group One races on the Golden Slipper program at Rosehill.

While the Golden Slipper field was announced on Tuesday, acceptances for the remaining races on Saturday's program were taken on Wednesday with the Jamie Richards-trained Te Akau Shark favourite for the weight-for-age George Ryder (1500m) in which he has drawn barrier eight.

Te Akau Shark's opposition includes grand campaigner Happy Clapper who has barrier six while three three-year-old colts will take on the older horses including Caulfield Guineas winner Super Seth who has the outside draw.

The weight-for-age Ranvet Stakes (2000m) will feature the first Australian appearance of English visitor Addeybb, with the William Haggas-trained gelding drawing barrier six in a field of eight.

Defending champion Avilius has drawn barrier two in the Ranvet.

A full field of 14 plus three emergencies has been declared for the Group One Galaxy (1100m) headlined by Pierara who has drawn barrier 11 with Tommy Berry to ride.

The 2018 winner In Her Time has drawn barrier four while the Joe Pride-trained mare Fasika has come up with barrier 16.

Randwick Guineas winner Shadow Hero has drawn barrier eight in a field of 13 for Group One Rosehill Guineas, the second leg of the Sydney autumn triple crown for three-year-olds, while Cox Plate runner-up Castelvecchio has barrier two.

New Zealand Derby winner Sherwood Forest has the widest draw.

The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace stable now has five runners in the Golden Slipper with first emergency Rathlin gaining a start after the scratching of Global Quest.
