Dalasan draws wide in Caulfield Guineas

Tuesday 8 October 2019, 12:52pm

Dalasan is an easing favourite for the Group One Caulfield Guineas after drawing the second-widest barrier in the field of 16 plus three emergencies.

To be ridden by Hugh Bowman, the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas-trained Dalasan has moved from $2.40 to $2.90 for Saturday's 1600m-race.

Queenslander Alligator Blood, who defeated Dalasan in the Prelude, has firmed from $6 to $5.50 after drawing 13.

The Chris Waller-trained Kubrick has eased from $5.50 to $6 after coming up with barrier 17 for James McDonald.

Despite their wide draws, the three remain the only runners under double figures
