New Zealander Te Akau Shark remains favourite for the Epsom Handicap with 83 nominations taken for the famous Randwick mile.

Te Akau Shark is at $5 after finishing second to Doncaster Mile runner-up Dreamforce in Saturday's Tramway Stakes.

Dreamforce is at $6 with the TAB for the Epsom (1600m) with Samadoubt at $8 following his wins in the Group One Winx Stakes and Group Two Chelmsford Stakes.

Happy Clapper and Kolding are at $11.

There are 94 entries for the Metropolitan Handicap (2400m) with Girl Tuesday, Scarlet Dream and Supernova sharing the top market spot at $11.

Australian Derby winner Angel Of Truth is in a large group on the second line at $15.

Star filly Libertini heads the 68 Flight Stakes (1600m) entries at $2.25 after her wins in the Silver Shadow and Furious Stakes, both over 1200m.

Flit, who is scheduled to run in Saturday's Run To The Rose, is the second favourite at $6 alongside Funstar.

The three Group One races are all run at Randwick on October 5.

"It is pleasing to see good numbers including a solid increase in the Metropolitan which rewards the investment both Racing NSW and ATC have made in the Sydney staying program," Australian Turf Club general manager of racing and wagering James Ross said

Weights for the Epsom and Metropolitan Handicaps will be released on September 16.
