Anderson Heathcote partnership starts

Monday 29 April 2019, 12:12pm

The new training partnership of Robert Heathcote and Chris Anderson will kick off with six acceptors at Eagle Farm.

The multiple Group One and five-time premiership winning trainer Heathcote and Anderson, who is regarded as a rising star of Brisbane racing, have spent the past six weeks putting the finishing touches to the partnership to be known as Anderson Heathcote Racing.

They will eventually have about 100 horses on their books at Eagle Farm.

They have trained a total of 81 winners this season between them.

The partnership will also have new stable colours with a combination of Heathcote's pink and black and Anderson's black and white checks.

"It is an exciting time for us both and we are looking forward to plenty of success in coming weeks," Anderson said.

Among their runners declared for Eagle Farm is Downloading, a half brother to Heathcote's champion sprinter Buffering.
