Dunaden heads quartet against St Nicholas

Friday 31 May 2013, 11:19am

St Nicholas Abbey faces only four rivals as he bids for a hat-trick of wins in the Coronation Cup at Epsom.

Aidan O'Brien's six-year-old entire now has five Group Ones on his record after he claimed the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan in March.

He will be joined by his stablemate Chamonix, a winner of two Listed races last season.

The globetrotting Dunaden will again take on St Nicholas Abbey after finishing fourth in Dubai.

Since then Mikel Delzangles' Melbourne Cup winner has finished third in the Prix Ganay over an inadequate trip.

The Stuart Williams-trained Chapter Seven will run in the same ownership.

Completing the field is another well-travelled runner, Joshua Tree.

Now in the care of Ed Dunlop, having previously been with O'Brien and Marco Botti, he finished sixth on his comeback in the Yorkshire Cup.
