Champagne Cuddles outright Tiara favourite

Wednesday 20 June 2018, 9:48am

Sydney filly Champagne Cuddles has shortened to outright favourite after drawing barrier four in the Group One Tatt's'Tiara at Doomben.

Champagne Cuddles had been $6 equal favourite in most markets but was shortened to $5.50 after Tuesday's barrier draw for the final Group One event of the season.

There has been good support for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Prompt Return who firmed from $7 to $6.50 second favourite for Saturday's 1350m-race.

The best-backed runner has been the Mick Price-trained Pedrena who shortened from $26 last week to $11 after drawing barrier 12.

The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Moss Trip remained at $9 despite drawing the outside barrier in the field of 16 plus five emergencies.
