Robbie Fradd's purple patch ends

Sunday 18 February 2018, 4:00pm

In-form jockey Robbie Fradd's purple patch of form has came to a halt with an 11-day suspension.

Fradd, one of the busiest riders in Queensland, has ridden 10 winners in the past 2-1/2 weeks.

He was outed for his ride on Saturday's Doomben winner Fortensky.

Stewards found Fortensky bumped Clockwork Orange, who ran fourth, at the 50m-mark causing her to move out slightly onto Let's Party Marty.

Fradd pleaded guilty to causing interference and was suspended from February 25 to March 7.

He is second on the Brisbane metropolitan jockeys premiership with 56-1/2 winners with Jeff Lloyd on 65.
