Field of 12 for Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes

A star-studded field of 12 horses has been declared for the Group One Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington, headlined by Hartnell who will jump from barrier eight.

To be ridden by Kerrin McEvoy in Saturday's weight-for-age 1600m race, Hartnell could give James Cummings his first Group One win since taking over as the head trainer for Godolphin in Australia earlier this year.

Victoria's premier trainer Darren Weir will saddle up three runners with Black Heart Bart drawing barrier seven, Australian Cup winner Humidor in gate 10 and Gailo Chop to start from the inside gate.
