Brad Rawiller suspended at Caulfield

Saturday 2 September 2017, 6:35pm

Jockey Brad Rawiller will miss the Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes meeting at Moonee Valley after being suspended for careless riding at Caulfield.

Rawiller was outed for 10 meetings after pleading guilty to careless riding around the 400m mark of the Listed Heatherlie Handicap (1700m) on Saturday aboard eventual runner-up Guardini.

His actions caused Dulverton to have to be restrained to avoid the heels of another horse.

Rawiller's ban begins immediately and he can return for the metropolitan meeting at Mornington on Wednesday week.

Rawiller misses next Saturday's meeting at Moonee Valley where he said he was booked to ride the Darren Weir-trained Star Exhibit in the Group Two Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes.
