Shinn reaches double figures in Chicago

Friday 14 July 2017, 4:40pm

Sydney jockey Blake Shinn has cracked double figures at Arlington Park as his American riding experience nears an end.

Shinn rode a double at the latest meeting at the Chicago track to boost his win tally to 10.

He guided Greeleys Delight and Wagon Boss to the post for trainers Barr Inman and Ignacio Correas respectively.

"Great thrill hitting double digit figures .... It's been one hell of a journey & hope to build on it in final two days," Shinn said on Twitter.

Shinn is spending five weeks based in Chicago after developing an association with trainer Wesley Ward on a previous trip to the United States.

He returns to Sydney after racing commitments this weekend and resumes riding at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
