Waller’s Gold Coast Stable Nears Full Capacity

Friday 7 July 2017, 9:33am

The new Gold Coast satellite stable of leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller is nearing capacity, with 23 horses expected to be prepared from the new Queensland base by the end of July. “We expect to have any improvements at the property finalised by the end of the month and will look to have 23 horses at the property fulltime from the beginning of the new season,” stable representative Liam Prior said. “In the meantime, we will commence to build our numbers over the coming month.”

Loving Home (Shamardal) will be Waller’s sole runner at Doomben tomorrow, with the six-year-old gelding contesting a Benchmark 80 Handicap (2040m) with Larry Cassidy taking the ride.
