Arrowfield Stallion Parade Dates Announced

Friday 16 June 2017, 9:39am

It's time to start planning to visit the beautiful Hunter Valley for Stallion Showcase Week in August, just before the new breeding season begins on 1 September.

So far 21 new stallions have been announced for New South Wales in 2017, and Arrowfield is delighted to be introducing three of them: the "Beast from the East" Maurice, European 2YO sprinting star Shalaa and Japan's 2016 Champion Sprinter & Miler Mikki Isle.

They join one of the most formidable stallion rosters in the world right now, headed by the magnificent champion sire Redoute's Choice and his sensational sons Snitzel and Not A Single Doubt, collectively responsible for 253 stakeswinners, 59 of them this season alone.

Arrowfield will be open to visitors for morning and afternoon sessions over three days, as follows:

FRIDAY 25 AUGUST
9am – 12 noon (full stallion parade at 9.30am) & 2pm – 4pm

SATURDAY 26 AUGUST
9am – 12 noon (full parade at 9.30am) & 2pm – 4pm

SUNDAY 27 AUGUST
9am – 12 noon (full parade at 9.30am); no afternoon session.

Join us for great coffee & food, inspect the stallions and meet the Arrowfield team.
