Joyous draw for wonder mare

Wednesday 10 October 2012, 11:17am

Pin-up mare More Joyous has drawn barrier four in her quest to claim a second Group One Toorak Handicap victory on Saturday.

More Joyous, who won the Caulfield feature two years ago, was one of 10 runners paid up for on Wednesday.

Last year's Toorak winner King Mufhasa will also be given a chance to claim the 1600m race for a second time and he drew well in two.

Mare Spirit Song has drawn the fence while Glass Harmonium will jump from the outside gate.

Also among the acceptors were Queenslander Solzhenitsyn, who fared well with gate three, and Yosei, who will back up from her luckless Epsom Handicap performance.

Yosei has drawn barrier nine.
