Big field declared for Group One Galaxy

Eighteen sprinters, including four emergency runners, have been paid up for the Group One Galaxy at Rosehill on Saturday.

The capacity field includes the 59.5kg topweight Hay List who has drawn barrier 14.

Hay List will be returning to Group One company after his first-up fourth placing in the Challenge Stakes at Warwick Farm.

His conqueror in record time in the Group Two Challenge, the Gerald Ryan-trained Snitzerland, has drawn gate 11.

Three-time Group One-winning mare Sea Siren is set to resume in Saturday's 1100m sprint from barrier two.

Victorian Bel Sprinter, with Kerrin McEvoy to ride, has barrier 15 while Tiger Tees has drawn the extreme outside alley.

Golden Archer, the Peter Moody-trained speedster who failed in the Challenge after being placed in the Lightning Stakes behind decorated stablemate Black Caviar, has gate four.
