Trainer Jason Attard injured in trackwork

Hawkesbury trainer Jason Attard has broken his shoulder in an early morning trackwork accident.

Attard was injured on Tuesday when the unraced two-year-old he was riding broke down.

Racing NSW said the trainer had been taken to Nepean Hospital and would undergo surgery on his right shoulder.
