The United States arrives in Hong Kong

Australia's sole entrant in the upcoming Hong Kong features, The United States, has arrived safely ahead of his Group One mission.

The Lloyd Williams-owned entire runs in Sunday's QEII Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin.

The United States won last year's Group One Ranvet Stakes at the Sydney autumn carnival and finished second to Lucia Valentina in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

This year he ran third to Our Ivanhowe in the Ranvet and fourth in the Queen Elizabeth won by Winx on April 8.

Ex-pat Australian Brett Prebble, who won the 2012 Melbourne Cup for Williams on Green Moon, will ride The United States.
