Race a colt from the last crop of High Chaparral with Lee & Anthony Freedman

Wednesday 8 March 2017, 10:50am

Slade Bloodstock offer this quality New Zealand bred colt from the last crop of the ill-fated High Chaparral to be trained by Hall of Fame trainer Lee Freedman and Anthony Freedman. Don't wait too long as this colt is walking out the door the partnership will close rapidly!

We went to New Zealand with the express purpose to find a High Chaparral colt that met the criteria and we found this guy......rapt to have procured him and very excited about what lies ahead for him and his lucky bunch of owners- Rob Slade

HIGH CHAPARRAL X APPLAUDING COLT

Two-time Champion Australian sire High Chaparral is a premier source of Classic blood in Australia. High Chaparral won 10 races throughout his career including six at Group One level.

If you want a nice staying horse to pitch at a Derby or a Cup or a Plate then HIGH CHAPARRAL is the right sire!

He has matched his dominant racetrack performance in the breeding barn as the sire of 10-time Group One winner SO YOU THINK and six-time Group One winner IT'S A DUNDEEL. This colt is very much in the mould of IT'S A DUNDEEL Not a big heavy horse at all but very much a real athlete. Rob loved the way he walked, very light on his feet and really walked smoothly.
This colt is out of Pentire mare Applauding. The grand-dam of the colt is New Zealand Group One winner Honor Bound.
