Baster suspended again after win on Farson

Saturday 25 February 2017, 6:38pm

For the second time in less than a month, Stephen Baster has received dual suspensions following a winning ride on Farson.

The Gai Waterhouse and Anthony Bott-trained three-year-old won the Group Two Autumn Classic at Caulfield on Saturday, but Baster was suspended on two careless riding charges.

He received a 12-meeting suspension on one charge and nine meetings on the second.

The two will be served concurrently, sidelining him for 12 meetings.

After Farson won at Moonee Valley on February 10, Baster received two suspensions of 14 meetings.

Friday night's meeting at Moonee Valley was his first meeting back.
