New racing manager for Qld racing

Tasmanian racing official Simon Stout has been appointed general manager of racing for Racing Queensland.

Stout is currently the Thoroughbred Code Development manager for Tasracing and has previously worked as senior manager at Hudson Conway Racing, the thoroughbred operation at Macedon Lodge owned by Lloyd Williams.

He is one of four people appointed to the senior management team led by chief executive Eliot Forbes who began his job earlier this year.
