Hartnell a firming Cup favourite

Punters have come for the favourite Hartnell who has again firmed to $5.50 for the Melbourne Cup on the back of some big bets.

The Godolphin horse eased to $6 on Tuesday but by early afternoon was back to his previous price with the TAB taking three big bets totalling $52,000.

Caulfield Cup winner Jameka and Oceanographer are equal second picks at $8.50.
