$100,000 2yo bonus awaits progeny of Polarmore and Direct Charge

OXLEY ISLAND THOROUGHBREDS, an established boutique stud on the mid north coast of New South Wales is offering breeders a wonderful opportunity this breeding season.

As a huge incentive, Oxley Island Thoroughbreds in association with Taree Race Club and the cooperation of Racing NSW, are offering "THE OXLEY ISLAND THOROUGHBREDS TWO YEAR OLD OPEN 1000" for two-year-olds resulting from a 2016 mating. The race will be held on the mid north coast around Golden Slipper time in 2020.

Foals conceived in the 2016 breeding season by either stallion currently standing at Oxley Island Thoroughbreds, DIRECT CHARGE or POLARMORE, have the chance to win the huge bonus purse of $100,000 by winning just one race as a two year old.

Standing for a very affordable $2,200 is Group 3 winning two year old sprinter DIRECT CHARGE (above) who is by Group 1 winner CHARGE FORWARD and out of well related Redoute's Choice mare LADY OF CHOICE.

Also standing at $2,200 is the flashy son of MORE THAN READY, POLARMORE (above). Polarmore is regally bred being out of champion Golden Slipper winning mare POLAR SUCCESS.

To reiterate, should the above mentioned race be won by the progeny of either DIRECT CHARGE or POLARMORE, the winning owners will receive a $100,000 bonus!

This exciting new race offers breeders the chance to compete for the lucrative prize that is not usually on offer for two year old's in Country Racing.

The only question for breeders is which stallion to choose? DIRECT CHARGE with his juvenile speed pedigree or the blue-blooded POLAMORE by a Champion two-year-old sire and out of a Golden Slipper winner.

Both stallions offer fantastic value standing the 2016 breeding season at a service fee of $2,200 inc GST.
