So You Think colt Kaching set to light up Moonee Valley

Friday 30 September 2016, 9:50am

If ever a colt was bred to love Moonee Valley its Kaching - a son of two-time Cox Plate winner SO YOU THINK from a 3/4 sister to Cox Plate heroine SUNLINE - as he chases Group 2 glory for his owners tonight!

Following his eye-catching effort at Caulfield two weeks ago, Kaching shot to the top of feature 3YO race markets and tonight he heads to the Group 2 Stutt Stakes a $6 chance to claim a Stakes win at only his 4th career start.

The record yearling purchase has carried the weight of expectation with style throughout his short career and he'll be cheered on by a massive group of owners tonight - with owners travelling from Adelaide, Coffs Harbour and all over Queensland to cheer on their champ tonight.

Trainer Ciaron Maher has added the blinkers and following a sharp piece of work last Saturday morning the team are full of confidence for tonight's race.

FLR's Ashleigh Dowley caught up with Assistant Trainer Dave Eustace for the stable's final word, you can watch the interview here:http://po.st/7SEsu8

Kaching draws the widest barrier for Nick Hall who has ridden him at his 3 career starts and Group 1 jockey is ready for the challenge tonight.

Trainer Ciaron Maher describes Kaching as a colt "with X factor" and he'll need that tonight to defeat a highly talented group of 3-year-olds.

Kaching will be chasing FLR's first feature race win in partnership with new trainer Ciaron Maher - and its a partnership that couldn't have begun in better style with 5 winners in our first 3 months including impressive winner last Friday in Littlesnitz.

Success tonight will propel Kaching into Group 1 Caulfield Guineas calculations and make for a Caulfield Guineas Day to remember with last start winner Not A Happy Camper chasing a Group 3 of her own next Saturday as the stable swings into gear for Spring.

Owners and followers can keep track of the stable via FLR's FriYay Podcast posted on the website and social media every Friday morning.
