Shinn and Hall cop Eagle Farm suspensions

Saturday 25 June 2016, 6:16pm

Group One-winning jockeys Blake Shinn and Nick Hall have been suspended for careless riding at Eagle Farm.

Stewards outed Shinn for 12 days for causing interference aboard Precious Gem in the Group One Tattersall's Club Tiara on Saturday.

Shinn, who pleaded guilty, will start his suspension on July 2 and resume on July 14.

Hall also pleaded guilty to a careless-riding charge for causing interference to Artistry near the 700m when he rode the favourite and eventual runner-up Azkadellia.

It was the sixth time Hall has been outed for careless riding this year.

His suspension starts on July 2 and he will resume riding on July 16.
