Oliver suspended at Eagle Farm

Saturday 11 June 2016, 5:40pm

Damien Oliver will be free to ride at the Tatt's Tiara meeting despite incurring a careless riding suspension at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Oliver was hit with an 11 days suspension for causing interference aboard Onemorezeta in the Dane Ripper Stakes.

His suspension starts after Monday's Mornington meeting and will end in time to enable him to resume riding at the Tatt's Tiara meeting at Eagle Farm on June 25.

Oliver pleaded guilty to the charge after stewards rated the interference in the mid-range category.

Bobby El-Issa was outed for 15 days for careless riding arising from his ride on Dreams Aplenty in the Group One JJ Atkins Plate.
