It's Now Or Never for rejuvenated Fallon

Monday 9 May 2016, 7:26am

Now Or Never has given jockey Kieren Fallon his first European Group win in two years with her impressive performance in the 1000 Guineas trial at Leopardstown.

The Michael O'Callaghan-trained filly took up the running at the top of the straight to run out a comfortable winner of the Group Three race as the 13-8 favourite.

Fallon has recently moved back to Europe from America to take up the role as stable jockey for O'Callaghan.

"I was impressed with her. She felt like a Guineas horse to me," Fallon said.

O'Callaghan said Now Or Never would now head to the Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh on May 22.

"With her pedigree from the family of Dream Ahead we were not sure she'd get a mile (1600m), but she got it very well," he said.
