25 nominations for Warrnambool Cup

Darren Weir has entered three horses in his pursuit of a third-straight Warrnambool Cup.

The Weir-trained Master Zephyr, Falago and Master Of Arts are among the 25 nominations for Thursday's 2350m-Listed race.

Weir won with Tall Ship last year and Akzar in 2014.

He also won with True Courser in 2005.

The Tony McEvoy-trained Big Memory is the highest-rated horse nominated for the $200,000 Cup which is one of the features on the final day of the three-day carnival along with the $300,000 Grand Annual Steeplechase.

The Grand Annual has 14 nominations including last year's winner Regina Coeli.

Wednesday's program is highlighted by the Listed Wangoom Handicap (1200m) and the Galleywood Hurdle.
