Boss banned for 10 meetings, Bosson fined

Glen Boss has fallen foul of stewards twice on CF Orr Stakes day with a double suspension.

Boss was suspended for eight meetings after being found guilty of careless riding aboard Cana in the second race of the day.

He also suspended for 10 meetings after being found guilty of careless riding about Lucky Hussler in the Group One CF Orr Stakes.

The suspensions will be served concurrently and puts Boss out of the Group One Lightning Stakes meeting on Saturday.

New Zealand jockey Opie Bosson was fined $1000 after stopped riding two strides before the post on fourth placegetter and favourite Turn Me Loose in the Orr Stakes.
