Precocious filly Fiftyshadesofgrey is being aimed at a lucrative bonus for her connections after starting her career in good style with a barrier trial win at Warwick Farm on Monday.

The grey filly is entirely female-owned and her trainer Marc Conners is eyeing next year's Magic Millions raceday with the daughter of Written Tycoon.

The two-year-old will be out to earn her way there when she makes her debut in Saturday week's Listed Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) at Randwick.

Fiftyshadesofgrey, named after the best-selling novel, made her first public appearance on Monday at the official two-year-old trial session and defeated More Joyous' sister Most Joyful by by three-quarters of a length over 850m.

"Ten ladies own her and they bought her to try to go for the Magic Millions promotion," Conners said.

Magic Millions are offering $500,000 in bonuses for the first four horses home in the $2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) that are wholly-owned or leased by women.

The first horse home in the Magic Millions to meet that criteria will earn a $325,000 bonus.

Conners hopes the filly can get to the feature race at the Gold Coast in January.

"She trialled really well," Conners said.

"She's bombproof and does everything right which is half the battle. She'll go to the Gimcrack Stakes on Saturday week now.

"We'll try to qualify for the Magic Millions."

Conners had three youngsters trial at Warwick Farm with Fiftyshadesofgrey and stablemate Raise No Doubt winning their heats.

"Raise No Doubt is still a bit colty and doesn't know what it's all about yet. If he comes through today well he'll go the Breeders Plate."
