Magic Artist draws inside in Kingston Town

Wednesday 2 December 2015, 7:24am

German horse Magic Artist has drawn barrier one for the Kingston Town Classic in Perth, the final Australian Group One race of the year.

Prepared by 2014 Melbourne Cup winning trainer Andreas Wohler, Magic Artist will be ridden by Damien Oliver in the 1800m-race at Ascot on Saturday.

Delicacy, last season's champion filly, will start from the outside barrier in the 16-horse field while Melbourne visitor Extra Zero jumps from 15 with Mark Zahra aboard.

Magic Artist has finished fourth in two Australian Group One starts behind Gailo Chop in the Mackinnon Stakes and Turn Me Loose in the Emirates Stakes.
