Trip To Paris settles in well in Japan

Wednesday 25 November 2015, 6:29am

Tommy Berry's Japan Cup mount Trip To Paris is in good order following his flight from Australia.

The Ed Dunlop-trained Trip To Paris finished second in the Caulfield Cup and fourth in the Melbourne Cup in which his popular stablemate Red Cadeaux suffered an injury that later proved fatal.

One of Sydney's leading jockeys, Berry is enjoying a short stint in Japan and will be reunited with Trip To Paris in Sunday's race.

"His trip over was good and he's put back on quite some weight so well have to put some work into him," Dunlop's travelling foreman Robin Trevor-Jones said.

Trevor-Jones said the horse would have a light-work-out on Wednesday with a stronger gallop on the turf track a day later.
