KEY COMMENTS

"Everything has gone to plan the whole way through this preparation, the only thing that probably hasn't is the barrier." Trainer Phillip Stokes on Adelaide filly Miss Gunpowder.

"Her coat has finally started to shift which tells me she's coming right at the right time of the year." Trainer Peter Moody on Champagne Stakes winner Pasadena Girl.

"It just makes it a little bit easier for Kerrin (McEvoy). You're not worried about getting in, you can be where you want to be rather than being dictated to." Trainer Andrew Noblet after Super Cash drew barrier two in the Group One race.

PATTERN

Take Pride has plenty of toe and should be able to take up the pace from her favourable draw. Miss Gunpowder has been ridden positively in the past and is likely to again be forced to roll forward from the wide gate. Payroll has drawn much better this time and looks to get a cosy run behind the speed while Alaskan Rose should also race handy. Stay With Me is expected to position closer from a good barrier.
