Hurricane moves up Caulfield Cup order

Magic Hurricane has moved closer to a Caulfield Cup start with his Group One win in the Metropolitan Handicap earning him a 2.5kg penalty.

He now has 52.5kg in the $3 million race for which Japanese horse Fame Game remains favourite.

Magic Hurricane was one of five winners for Godolphin and jockey James McDonald at Randwick on Saturday.

He is at $17 for the Caulfield Cup on October 17 and $26 for the Melbourne Cup in which he also now has 52.5kg.
