Mark Kavanagh and Danny O'Brien have had a small win in their appeals to the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board over the freeze on earnings from their training percentages.
Stewards earlier this month ruled their prizemoney percentage earned from Group and Listed races in Victoria be held until their hearings on cobalt charges.
Kavanagh had one horse test above the cobalt threshold with O'Brien four.
The RAD Board ruled Kavanagh's percentage from black-type races in Victoria after August 3 be capped at $100,000 and O'Brien's up to a maximum of $200,000.
They will have their cobalt charges heard by the RAD Board, starting November 30.
If the RAD Board finds none of the charges are proven, the prizemoney will be returned.
