Japonisme favourite for Run To The Rose

Winter sprinting find Japonisme is shading his Group One winning-stablemate Press Statement in early markets for the Run To The Rose.

Saturday's Group Two race is a lead-up to next month's $1 million Golden Rose (1400m).

Golden Slipper winner Vancouver is the favourite for the Group One Golden Rose and will not run again before the race on September 12.

Japonisme, who has won four successive races including the San Domenico Stakes, is at $3.20 with Press Statement $3.60 for the Run To The Rose.

Goldolphin duo Exosphere and Holler are at $4.20 and $5 respectively.

Late entries for the Run To The Rose close on Tuesday.
