Craig Newitt has failed in his appeal against a careless riding suspension but will be back for Saturday's racing.
Newitt was outed for six meetings after being found guilty of careless riding in a race at Sale last Thursday.
He appealed the decision and severity of the ban but lost out on both counts in front of the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Monday.
Saturday's Moonee Valley meeting features the Listed Carlyon Stakes and Listed McKenzie Stakes.
