Collett outed again on Fiftyshadesofgrey

Saturday 4 July 2015, 5:48pm

In the past few weeks Jason Collett has developed a love-hate relationship with Fiftyshadesofgrey.

The jockey has scored one win and two seconds on the Marc Conners-trained mare in her past three starts.

But those performances have been tempered by two suspensions, the second coming on Saturday when she was runner-up to Hard To Hold at Rosehill.

The circumstances were almost identical to his ban for her win on June 13 when he shifted out to take a run on the mare who is a noted fast-finisher.

Collett will be out from July 12 to July 19 but did manage to notch a Rosehill winner on the Tony McEvoy-trained Shiraz.

Danny Beasley, who was due to start a suspension after Saturday's meeting, had another four meetings added for causing interference early in the TAB.com.au (1100m).

Beasley will return on July 18.
