Victorian racing back on TV

Vision of Victorian racing will be shown on Seven West Media's digital Channel 78 from Friday.

The Victorian clubs split with the TAB-owned Sky Channel, opting to sign a media rights agreement with Seven to broadcast Victorian racing on free-to-air television.

Seven West Media will re-transmit racing.com's digital coverage on channel 78 on an interim basis until the launch of its premium coverage on August 29.

Friday's Victorian meeting is at Pakenham.

RV chief executive Bernard Saundry said talks were ongoing with Sky to get Victorian racing back into pubs, clubs and homes on the wall-to-wall racing channel.
