Matilda's coach Alen Stajcic records Dynamic duo

Monday 22 June 2015, 2:26pm

ALEN STAJCIC became the most successful Australian Coach in Australian soccer history when overnight, he guided the Australian women’s team – the MATILDAS to a 1-0 victory over BRAZIL in the FIFA Women’s WORLD CUP – Canada 2015.

Alen Stajcic - Coach of the Australian Women's Soccer Team - The MATILDAS

The MATILDAS are the First Australian Team - in either the Men’s or Women’s game - to advance from the pool rounds into the round of 8 (quarter-finals).

It was a big day for Coach Stajcic as Alen is also a co-owner in our Dynamic Syndications 3yo filly ACTION BUTTON who also won with ease at the Murwillumbah Cup Day meeting.

ACTION BUTTON winning her 4th race in 10 starts with ease

Action Button recorded her 4th win this preparation from 6 starts under the care of her trainer Matty Dunn and she has taken her race career record to:

10 starts: 4 wins, 1 second, 2 third, 1 fourth.

Also this was her 4th BOBS Bonus she has won.

Sent out a $2.50 favourite ACTION BUTTON won with absolute contempt against these peers when eased down under just hands and heels riding by Timothy Bell to post a 2 length x 0.2 length winning margin.

She won Race 4 - LARKIN ELECTRICAL & HAKKA HIRE MURWILLUMBAH Class 3 Hcp 1200m.

The race mapped as we had expected it should pre-race, with Action Button pushing forward whilst the second favourite Burleigh Bullet would shoot to the front at a fast clip and should get the wobbles at the furlong. We wanted to follow this map and control the speed for the first 200m and make the favourite work hard to cross us. Then sit and stalk and have the last crack at them.

That’s exactly what happened. As they jumped Action Button sped to the lead and then made Burleigh Bullet work harder for another 50m before it could cross. Burleigh Bullet started to over race for its apprentice rider whilst Tim Bell just stalked the leader with a lap full of horse.

As they swung for home, Tim allowed Action Button to roll out, three off the fence and under a double hold. Action Buttoncruised up to eyeball the leader at the 150m.

At the 100m, Tim let off the brakes and Action Button cruised away without being asked for an effort to win by a widening 2 lengths on the line.

It was a very soft effort and not much more than a working gallop for our filly.

Action Button is raced by a terrific Team of Dynamic Syndications Owners which includes Matilda’s Coach Alen Stajcic and many other long time, loyal Dynamic owners.

It’s exceptionally pleasing for us to watch the filly going through her grades and building confidence and most importantly banking cheques.

However there aren’t any more suitable BOBS races available for Action Button on the Northern Rivers of NSW before the end of July, when her BOBS eligibility expires. So she will now progress to racing in Brisbane where upon her current form, she appears to be well placed and capable of adding some city races to her resume.

Trainer Matt Dunn & Jet Pilot Tim Bell post race presentation

Congratulations to her team of owners:

Dynamic Syndications Racing, Mr K Draper, Mr S P Loane, Mr P M Bonilla, Mrs L Worsley, Mr S Young, Mr A C O'Neill, Mrs G Robertson, Mr M J Reid, Mr E J A Cairnduff, Mr A Stajcic, Mr D Micallef, Mr A Micallef, Mrs P L Quaill, Mr N W Honey, Mr M A Wolens, Mr J P Keeley, Mrs A W Edwards, Mr C Charalambous.

Action Button winning this event recorded Dynamic Syndications 425th Win since our first win under the Dynamic Syndications banner in October 2005 and also our 39th win for this 2014-15 Racing Season.
